In the beginning of engine mechanical design, whole engine rotor dynamics analysis is performed. Effective parameters to vibration for example stiffness of support and frames, position of BRG are determined to avoid the high vibration during engine running condition. This paper illustrates the way of rotor dynamic analysis and result of comparison analysis with measurements for three types of sub-scale demonstrator engines that is HTCE, TURBO, and CCE, in Hypersonic Transport Propulsion System Research (HYPR) program. Transfer Matrix Method performs rotor dynamic analyses on the way of linear or nonlinear steadystate unbalance response analysis. Engine vibration data were measured on bearings and typical points of casing by accelerometer for each engine. Especially during the TURBO engine test not only small unbalance response but also large unbalance response were measured. The comparison result between measurement and analysis provides good agreement.
