Static strength tests of bolts and nuts made of Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC), which was stacked by prepreg with 0/90°layups fiber directions, were conducted. The test results showed that the CMC bolt had strength as about three times as Monolithic bolt (Si3N4) and also CMC nut had strength at the level of strength to weight ratio as about three times as Metallic nut (strength level 600MPa). As for the bolt, the analysis on the stress of CMC bolt made by using finite element method (FEM). By comparing to the test results, the fracture mode in FEM was found to be consistent qualitatively.
