概要

• Based on the idea of collecting paarticles in an inlet scroll, numerical analysis and experimental study have been conducted. Numerical analysis focuses on calclulating particle trajectories and frequently collided regions. Computational results show that, for iron particles the first frequently collided regions locate at φ=25°-50°and φ=55°-75°. Experimental study has been performed to collect iron particles by a particle collector placed φ=20°-60°.About 50% of particles of the theoretical data have been collected by the special designed particle collector.
