It has been often claimed that the Peccei-Quinn symmetry solves the strong CP problem in an elegant way, however explict breaking terms must be suppressed extremely. If the PQ symmetry realizes accidentally like other global symmetries in the standard model, then this poses a very puzzling porblem. We consider that a large anomalous dimension of the so-called Peccei-Quinn field may solve this fine-tuning problem of the axion models. We showed that a large anomalous dimension can be given to a scalar field in some strongly coupled gauge-Yukawa theories and also that we may construct an explicit axion model by applying this mechanism.
