As far as function of home sewing machine and a technical level of manufacturers is concerned, a big difference can not be seem in recent years. Additionally, some manufacturers in many Asian countries, including East Asia provide low cost sewing machine and manufacturers in Japan face on struggle in a price war. In order to survive under these circumstances, we considered we need to develop new structure that not only achieved cost deduction but also improved our present products in value. This time, this paper shows our activities how we developed new structure of home sewing machine, which realized cost deduction by adopting innovative Body Frame using Press Arm.
