The "vector manifestation (VM)" fixed-point scenario found in Harada-Yamawaki hidden local symmetry effective theory makes a prediction that hadrons do not interact or barely interact as the fire-ball expands and cools from T_c down toward the freeze-out temperature T_<freeze-out> in heavy ion collisions. VM provide a simple prediction in terms of the vector manifestation for the ρ^0/π^- ratio measured in peripheral collisions. Vector manifestation also provides us a simple description of kaon condensation by fluctuating around the fixed point identified to be the chiral restoration point. It indicates that the critical density for strangeness condensation is lower than the chiral symmetry restoration density.
