Core Polarization Charge for E6 Transition

Core polarization effects for E6 transitions of the (2p-1f) shell nucleus are calculated by the particle-vibration coupling model. A negative E6 polarization charge δe^<L=6>_p=-0.06 is obtained because the isovector schematic interaction is strongly repulsive. A q-dependence of the core polarization charge for Coulomb form factor is also discussed by the sum rule approach. We study similarities between the schematic and effective interactions when they are operated on the particlehole states. It is pointed out that a rearrangement effect of a density dependent force induces the isovector particle-hole interaction to be strongly repulsive.
