この論文は国立情報学研究所の電子図書館事業により電子化されました。Results of the neutron scattering experiments on the structural transition of the quasi one dimensional conductor K_<0.3>MoO_3 are reported. The incommensurate wave vector of the charge density wave has a smooth temperature dependence and does not undergo a lock-in transition down to about 6 K, although it approaches the commensurate value 0.75. The temperature dependence of the order parameter is approximately described by a simple relation, which turned out to describe that of another quasi one dimensional conductor (TaSe_4)_2I, too. The phonon dispersion curves are also shown and the character of the soft phonon which induces the lattice instability is roughly viewed.
