The Effect of Skin Depth on Ferromagnetic Resonance in Spherical Ferrites

Ferromagnetic resonance experiments were performed for spherical single crystals with various electric resistivities. For conductive specimens, the skin depth of which is much smaller than the size of the specimens, the resonance magnetic fields in <110>-direction are different, depending upon whether the static magnetic field and microwave one are applied in {100}-plane or in {110}-plane. The resonance fields in <100>-direction, however, coincide in the both cases. The incoincidence of the resonance field in <110>-direction is scarcely observed in highly resistive specimens.
