The purpose of this study is to give an example of class taught for undergraduate students majoring in kindergarten education, regarding the connectivity between kindergarten and elementary school. This class focused on connecting kindergarten education and life environmental studies curriculum in elementary school, and examined production of operetta in both types of schools. Based on the survey conducted for the participating students, the following two steps were used: 1) learning from life environmental studies lessons and 2) learning from writing of essays. As a result of this class, there increased the number of students who can consider the connectivity between kindergarten and elementary school with the practical application to the actual classrooms in mind.
