In an early stage of childhood, it is wished children learn the basics of desirable eating habits custom, through the whole activity of children's life. In this report, I thought about what was the demanded ability to teach children about the importance of healthy eating by this way of thinking. And then, I thought about what was the problem of training for nursery school teacher, based on the investigations to nursery teachers and the students who belong to department of early childhood care and education. As a result of this investigation, it was suggested that we can expect the improvement of the skill that related to meal help further in the child care site, on the other hand, the nursery teachers have little interest to nourishment and foods. We will have to train it to let students be interested in foods, and to let them catch the children's eating habit custom from a wide viewpoint.
