The present study was conducted to reveal the effects of the use of "the evaluation seat" consisted with 2 parts ; the self-monitored evaluation by students and the evaluation by each instructor in the psychological basic experiment practicing classes. We decided to use "the evaluation seat" which reflects the criteria of the usual explanation. This makes the participants self-monitor every time. Therefore, it was expected that the students' motivation will increase and the study effects will also rise. With the use of "the evaluation seat", few was getting late and the number of absent students without permission decreased, the introduction section advanced favorably, their practice attitude has been improved. This year there were more students struggling to pass the course than last year but there were fewer students who actually failed to pass the course than last year. This means that the students being an absence tendency or having difficulty preparing the report became able to pass the course. From the answers on "the evaluation seat" about the class attendance, the class it self and the questions in returning their own reports, the majority of the students are more concerned about "how they were appraised and how they are going to be apprised" than there own method of learning or what they have learned, which was the main reason to increase their motivation. By the teacher's device, the way of the evaluation which is the most earnest matter for the students could provide a study process which makes the students reach the goal.
