• In this paper, we investigate the effectiveness of inter-university credit exchanged systems on practical use of XML technology. Aichi and Nagasaki prefectures are first discussed. Application procedures and issues of both systems are discussed. After describing structure and specifications of an XML based framework, we explain how the XML based framework handles these issues. Furthermore, we compare XML based frameworks with both prefectures for inter-university credit exchanged systems. We describe the benefit of applying XML technology for inter university credit exchanged systems. Finally, we conclude this paper.
