We performed single-photon interference experiments with fast choppers. The normalized interference amplitude showing the linear dependence on the transmission probability of the fast chopper suggests that a fast beam chopper changes a single-photon wave function Ψ(t) to √(t)Ψ(t) just behind the chopper where f(t) is the rectangular function corresponding to the open-closed cycle of the chopper
