Ejectile Polarization and Nuclear Orbitals

Ejectile polarization and collective flow in intermediate energy heavy ion collisions are studied by the use of microscopic simulation method. First, it is shown that the incident energy and target dependence of ejectile polarization data is reprodeced qualitatively by "Quantum Molecular Dynamics plus External Mean Field" model, and that the near-side and far-side contributions themselves are calculated to be almost monotonic function of ejectile momentum. Secondly, absolute values of collective flow data in the incident energy region from 25 MeV/u to 85 MeV/u are almost reproduced with Gogny interaction. The incident energy dependence of collective flow is largely due to the momentum dependence of the mean field.
