• Starting from the free ΛN interaction, we calculate the Λ-nucleus optical potential microscopically. Our procedure consists in two steps. Firstly, A complex effective ΛN interaction is determined based on the Brueckner theory. This explains the bulk property of the nucleus. Secondly, with the effective interaction, the optical potential is calculated in the framework of the continuum RPA. It explains the effect of the finiteness of the nucleus.
