This study aims to clarify one of the design characters of architect Yoshiro Taniguchi. It focuses on the design sense in the description of his "the Hometown Beauty" and the problem of the scenery. The problem of the aesthetic design sense of the Japanese which Yoshiro Taniguchi insists on is reflected by the scenery of the daily life environment clearly. In this paper, seven points under description in the scenery of the daily life environment have been extracted. An important point in the beautiful forming beauty and the hometown beauty is that it is formed by the architect. He makes a sincere effort to be the fittest for survival. But, because the architect receives sectionalized education in science and technology of the sectionalism, and has received a narrow specialized architectural education, he cannot support an aesthetic forming sense. Architect Yoshiro Taniguchi criticizes science and technology as being indifferent to beauty, and he emphasizes that science should be conscious of aesthetic creativity and the architect should incline the effort to the acquisition of beauty.
