Study on Education and Training for Social ?Workers and Standards for Social Work Training Program in Hospice and Palliative Care This study examined needs and contents of an education after graduation for social work practice in hospice and palliative care. The many social workers aspired to improve the expertise and skill in services to clients and their families. And the many social workers aspired to have an opportunity to training. This study gave suggestion to have training system. Standards for Social Work Training Program in Hospice and Palliative Care are composed of Knowledge, Skill, Attitude/Self-Awareness and The other. The Knowledge is composed of mental states of cancer patient, understanding of their families and understanding of physical pain and depression. The Skill is composed of counseling, assessment, team collaboration and skills of intervention. Attitude/Self-Awareness is composed of ethics, advocacy and self-awareness. The other is composed of documentation and supervision.
