The purpose of the research was to examine the effects and significance of commuting abilities of sports activities on the lifestyle of the severely cerebral palsied. Four individuals with cerebral palsy were chosen as the subjects for case study. The subjects were observed commuting processes from their homes to The Metropolitan Sports Center for Disabled. Afterward, they were interviewed to assess any substantive alteration of lifestyle with regards to their commuting abilities of sports activities. The results obtained in this study were as follows; 1 Regarding commuting processes of the severely cerebral palsied were prevented from participation in sports activities. 2 Regarding the participant's social interaction and commuting abilities, some conclusions were reached, although results varied by subject. 3 Their experiences gave them confidence in their commuting abilities, and that allowed for a positive lifestyle influence. Commuting abilities of the severely cerebral palsied is not a problem of physical movement, but developing social interaction that have influence on their lifestyle and greater heteronomy of action. Thus, the significance of commuting abilities for them is great.
