For the purpose of the establishment of the cerebellar vermian, hemispheral and especially parafloccular subdivsions from the cerebellar medulla in the pangolin(Manis pentadactyla LINNAEUS) are observed six cases of 40μ thick myelin sheath stained sagittal series under the microscope. As the subsidiary observation material, reconstruction models of the cerebellar medullary lamina and body are made. Results are as follows : 1) The majority of common subdivision folia is held in the surface folia, but a few in the occult folia of the opposite sides of the Fissura prima and the Pyramis. 2) Vermian and hemispheral subdivisions, their correlation to classical mammalian cerebellar subdivision and number of medullary laminae of the surface folia in each subdivision are as following table. 3) The cerebellar medullary body is divided into the ventral and dorsal medullary body by the invasion of the medial parafloccular cortex rostralward into the cerebellar medullary body. The ventral cerebellar medullary body itself after the disappearance of the Flocculus is Paraflocculus. The common medullary lamina of IXHDo and IXHVo sprouts from the rostral angle of the triangular Paraflocculus, of the Paraflocculus dorsalis, IXHD1 near the rostral angle and IXHD2 near the dorsal angle on the rostrodorsal surface of the Paraflocculus, IXHV1 of the Paraflocculus ventralis near the rostra I angle on the ventral surface of the Paraflocculus, Paraflocculus medialis dorsalis and Paraflocculus medialis ventralis near the caudal angle on the caudal surface of the Paraflocculus. Each medullary lamina of IXHD and IXHV branches off or sprouts moreover.
