• Lighting for an open space must be designed in such a manner that it will prove effective in light of the intended purpose and function; and that it will be in harmony with the overall space design.Luminaires must be designed and positioned so as to ensure that the space will be safe and comfortable in nighttime, while presenting a beautiful scenery in daytime.Further, a lighting plan must include sufficient steps to avoid adverse effects on the environment, with regard to the choice and positioning of lamps and luminaires. Overall, the plan must contribute to creating an environment-friendly space that also brings economic benefits.
