This paper attempts to denote, through a questionnaire survey, how the staff and theteachers of K Hoikuen Child Center understand the characteristics of their practice of Christianearly childhood care and education. The survey indicated that, in general, the characteristicswhich affect one's feelings, such as love, trust, care, security, kindness and calmness are moreeasily understood by most than those which affect one's rationalities, such as giving minoritiespriority over majorities, respecting those who are different from oneself, offering the freedomfor one's decision making or actions, or having a global point of view. The survey also revealedissues that should be dealt with in the future. For example, there was a tendency among thestaff and teachers to be fonder of people than God. There was also a weak relationship withthe church and a lack of awareness about the purpose of Christian care and education.
