Measurements of Eulerian velocity correlation coefficient in a planar mixing layer is made. It is found that the Frenkiel function family is more suitable than the other function family proposed by Altinsoy and Tugrul to represent the velocity correlations in both the shear layer and freestream regions. The study shows that the values of loop parameter (m) and integral time scale (T_E) increases as moving from the shear layer to the freestream regions in the downstream of the planar mixing layer. It is found that the values of m and T_E vary with different (streamwise and transverse) velocity components. Effects of two flow parameters of velocity ratio r and Reynolds number Re_θ on T_E are investigated. It is found that TE is increased with increasing r while decreased with increasing Re_θ in the investigated range of r and Re_θ.
