In the image reconstruction of projection data including noise in X-ray CT, noise distribution is nonlinearly mapped by logarithm operation and so the accuracy of CT number is degraded. We have clarified the influence of the nonlinearity of noise distribution and presented the correction method. In this report, we propose a new method for suppressing streak artifact and improving the accuracy of CT number by using interpolation based on theoretical expression of noisy projection data in Radon-space.
