Danish language, literature, history and culture are being taught abroad at about 120 universities (for a detailed list, see this webside: http://www.dansklektor.dk/ kont.html). The Danish state has established a remarkable network between the Ministry of Science (with the Lecturers' Committee) and the Danish lecturers abroad ・ by helping the foreign universities appoint new lecturers ・ by giving financial support for instance to educational material and to some lectureships, and・ by organizing meetings in Denmark as well as abroad in order to update the lecturers and promote Danish culture.
