• It has passed more than five years since Dimethyl Ether (DME) is paid attention to as a clean new fuel. MGC has participated in process development, plant operation and process license of methanol process and DME process for a long time. We have developed a large-scale DME production process from natural gas based on the methanol dehydration reaction (DME indirect synthesis). The indirect synthesis process is very simple because only a few equipments, such as methanol vaporizer, DME synthesis reactor and DME distillation column, are added to the methanol process. It is also a high reliable process to make good use of the experiences on the commercial plant.
