A total of 376 lots of the echinoid specimens collected from 146 and 10 localities in the Sagami Sea and its adjacent sea, respectively during the period of 2001-2005, were systematically examined. They were classified into 55 species of 43 genera from 43 families. The occurrences of Platybrissus roemeri (Spatangoida: Palaeopneustidae) and Aspidodiadema tonsum (Aspidodiademina: Aspidodiadematidae) were new record to the Sagami Sea. In addition to those 55 species, 29 species common to the Sagami Sea were listed based on the materials collected apart from the survey, and photographs taken at the sub-tidal zone around the coast of Sagami Bay. Therefore, a total of 84 species of the echinoids were listed with several notes on systematics, biological features and distribution.
