The rotational perturbation between the v=14 level of the B^1Σ^+_u state and the v=3 level of the C^1Π_u state is investigated in the H_2 absorption spectrum by means of a high resolution spectroscopy in the VUV region. The R(0) line of the B-X (14,0) and the P(2) line of the C-X (3,0) band, missidentified in the previous work, are observed with considerably weak intensity in this work. The anomalous intensity is interpreted in terms of interlevel mixing based on nonadiabatic effects. The results agree qualitatively well with theoretical calculation. The unnatural identification of the previous work, missing of P(1) in the B-X and Q(1) of the C-X band, is corrected. A cooling method at liquid nitrogen temperature is used for verifing the present identification; it is clear that the R(0) and P(2) lines mentioned above are not those with higher rotational quantum numbers J, since they do not only disappear, but enhanced in intensity at liquid nitrogen temperature
