We report here the preliminary results of the numerical simulations which investigate whether the galaxy-galaxy interaction is capable of triggering the nuclear activity. By N-body simulations, it was found that disc galaxy models of wide parameter ranges evolve bar-like structures under the influence of the tidal force exerted by other galaxies. The cloud-particle simulation for the gas component shows that strongest ones of these bars induce an inflow of the gas to the nucleus, and be able to trigger the nuclear activity. Furthermore, the results suggest that the late type spiral galaxies with small masses should exhibit the highest level of activities, because of their dynamical characteristics favourable to the strong bar formation in the interaction.Interacting galaxiesstarburstsactive nuclei
