We construct a hydrodynamic model of classical Cepheids and try in confirming modal coupling, which is assumed in theoretical papers. We show the transient enhancement of a weaker mode at the stage when the amplitude of the main mode is increasing. We find the decrease of the period-ratio at the doubly periodic stage.
