These days, several methods to determine the provisional boundaries of bunsetsu using 3rd-order and 2nd-order Markov chain model of kana characters have been proposed. This paper proposes a method to correct the erroneous boundaries of bunsetsu using the provisioned boundaries of words. From the experimental results, it is shown that the proposed method is useful to improve relevalence factor and recall factor of boundaries of bunsetsu.
