It is well know that the magneto electric effect should occur in a single-crystal of Cr_2O_3. The magnetic polarization M of the magneto-electric element may be written [numerical formula] Me is the magnetization induced by the electric field. We should try to occur Einstein-de Haas effect by to apply the electric field of square wave with a single-crystal sample of Cr_2O_3 burnished the electrode. The results were as follows: (1) The deflection angle of a sample θ is 125 degree for a field intensity of 4KV/cm at osillation period T=2.6 sec., temperature t=12℃. (2) The amplitude of the deflection increases in proportion to the electric field and become small due to rise the temperature at the constant electric field. (3) When the direction of magnetic annealing inverts, the direction of the deflection is reversed.
