This report describs of AE fundamental characteristics for monitering system of materials tests. We tried to find out the initial failure for shearing test. We made concrete samples which have one artificial shearing plane with some contacted area ratio between the upper and the lower side. We also analyzed the stress and the displacement for models of test samples and checked the stress and the displacement of them.
