The comprehensive and the expressive activities of students are not the same. And both activities must be given an impetus in order for students to make steady development. But teachers tend to give an impetus only to the latter and be negligent of the former. The reasons for this are that the level of students' comprehension can be measured only by their expression, and teachers often think that an ability has been truly acquired only when a fine expression has been performed. In this paper, I try to show that teachers who neglect students' comprehensive activities deprive students of their remarkable development, which could be easily made if teachers gave an impetus to the comprehensive activities.
