能動的心理療法の観点から見た母親面接の意義

During the past few decades, there has been much discussion over the significance and the aim of the interviews with mothers who have problematic children, adolescents or youth. In terms of the mother interview, the author holds a view that (a) therapists must work within or from the mothers' internal frame of reference and (b) therapists should rely on mothers' constructive selves. The paper focuses on helping mothers develop their activeness through interviews with the therapist. Mothers usually go through considerable struggles and setbacks on their trajectory toward effective coping during the course of the therapy. Hope waxes and wanes. Psychotherpists must assist mothers tenaciously to get over their difficulties.
