The purpose of this study was to confirm that the subject learning activities in these two years were really subjective for students and to clarify the tasks that lie ahead. They studied in the following way: The students were divided into several groups and decided subjects and details of learning. Then they studied in the small groups, made a presentation and evaluated themselves and others about the process of the study. They did activities in the same groups as usual in 2002, but they formed themselves in groups according to the theme of the study in 2003. The result were as follows: (1) In the self-evaluation, over 70% of the students highly estimated the following items: their interest in the theme, contents of learning, usefulness of the study for the future, as well as originality and ingenuity, burden of the study, exercise for the presentation and their attitude at the presentation. (2) In the free text, more positive comments were made by those who formed groups by the learning subjects. Many of them wrote that they could cooperate each other within a group and enjoyed themselves.
