繊維と円筒形ガイドとの摩擦に関する考察(2) : 回転振動する繊維ガイドが糸の張力振動におよぼす効果について

It is a very important matter to control the friction between the running fibers and their guides of the textile machinery in the textile industries. It is important especially in the case of the synthetic fibers e. g. nylon fiber, polyester fiber and so on. As a method of controlling the friction, it is theoretically considered that the rolling high frequency vibration of small amplitude as compared with the natural frequency of the system is added to the textile guide. Then, solid friction between nylon yarn and the textile guide changes the positive vibratory solid friction. It is consequently obtained that the positive vibratory solid friction behaves as if it were the fluid friction containing the damping constant which expresses [numerical formula], where, a sin ωt; equation of the rolling vibration, [numerical formula], k_1; spring constant of the yarn, f_1, f_2; alternate frictional force, ω_0; natural angular frequency of the system. In this paper, moreover, it was confirmed by the experiment that the vibratory solid friction became equivalent to the fluid friction and so, unusual tensile vibration was diminished exponentially.
