Henry Purcell is known to have written twenty-four ceremonial odes for the royal families, St Cecilia's Day, and common people's ceremonial occasions. As the the third of the analysis of his odes, this paper deals with his first four works written after the Glorious Revolution of 1688. It was inevitable for his music to be influenced by the great political and social change caused by the revolution, but the nature of the influence has not been clarified yet. Through the analysis, this paper concludes that the first two odes are rather similar to his earlier odes, in spite of the fact that the force of the first ode was strengthened. However, in the third ode written for the Yorkshire Feast, a great leap was achieved, the form being enlarged, and the content enriched. The quality of music was maintained in the fourth ode written for the birthday of Queen Mary. Therefore it can be said that the influence of the Glorious Revolution on Purcell's odes was not very straightforward. First it caused a backward movement. However it looks like a preparatory action as Purcell achieved a great leap in the history of his ode writing, by writing two really great odes, Yorkshire Feast Song and the second of Queen Mary's Birthday Odes.
