キーワード : アミノペプチダーゼ 管状要素分化 リグニン生合成 ヒャクニチソウ 抄録 : Isolated mesophyll cells from Zinnia undergo transdifferentiation into tracheary elements (TE), which involve dediffcrentiation, secondary wall synthesis and autolysis. The changes in activities of aminopeptidases during the transdifferentiation were examined using Phe, Leu, Met, Ala and Arg-4-methyl-7-coumarilamides as substrates. Hydrolytic activity against Phe-and Leu-MCA was decreased when cells were cultured in non-inductive medium. On the other hand, similar aminopeptidase activity was increased in cells cultured in TE-inductive culture. High level of the activity at maturing phase of TE suggests its relation with lignin synthesis. Hydrolytic activity against Ala-MCA was transiently increased in differentiation-inductive culture.
