聾学校高等部におけるコンピュータネットワークの利用に関する研究

This study was focused on the circumstances and tasks in using computer network in the high-school department of deaf school in Japan. A questionnaire was sent to 68 deaf schools which have high-school department. 48 answers were returned. As compared with many regular schools adopting computer network system in their educational activities in Japan, a few deaf schools were using the network. There were some reasons. Many deaf schools had little financial support for making up the computer network system and renewing the machines. However, many deaf schools want to use computer network in the educational activities. To achieve that goal, there are some tasks to be resolved. That is, preparing the skilled teacher and individualized curriculum for deaf students who feel difficulties in reading the manual. Today deaf schools which introducing the computer network seems to be increasing, but it was suggested that those tasks still remained in the schools.
