Now, 59 years have already passed since the Battle of Okinawa, because of the decrease in people who has experienced the Battle, it is becoming difficult for us to hear talks of the peoole. In these realities, the battle sites, which remember the memories of the battle, are attracting a great deal of attention, and the practices of studying the battle through touching their sites are making active. In this article, I try to present the military establishments, for example airfields, trnches for the headquarters, trenches for hospitals and so on, which were built with relation to the battle of Okinawa. I discribed only existing military establishments, because of my consideration from the standpoint of materializing the battle sites, as an "attester of history", for peace study. In addition, I referred to the state of investigation into and the preservation problem of battle sites in outline.
