• A generalized paleotemperature curve from the Quaternary to the Jurassic is established from the results of many oxygen isotopic examinations. The Quaternary paleotemperature curve is correlated with the results of other estimations such as by the planktonic foraminiferal change and calcium carbonate content in deep-sea cores.
