The purpose of this study is to investigate the following points in the Chernoff's face graph that could not be made clear in the previous investigation^<4)>; (1) How would the difference of ages exist in the visual reaction to features and the reaction error within an individual? (2) How would the features to the visual reaction be affected if the pupils of eye are larger than they were in the previous investigation so that the expression might be more vivid? In order to examine the difference of ages, the experiment was made on junior high school students instead of university students who were the objects of the previous investigation. And then the experiments of the panel members' visual reaction and its analysis were carried out by using L_<16>(2^<15>) orthogonal array table, by employing analysis of variance and matching tests by percentage. The results are as follows. (1) When the experiment was made on the visual reaction of junior high school students, the visual reaction was mainly affected by three of eighteen features: the most effective feature was the slant of eyebrows; the second was the curvature of mouth; the third was the slant of eyes. And the most effective interaction was between the slant of eyebrows and the curvature of mouth. Consequently, when the result of analysis in the previous investigation was taken account of, it was concluded that the analysis was reliable, regardless of different ages because the contributions of features were larger than experiment error and the individual error was smaller than the error among the subjects. (2) Although the pupils of eye were larger than they were in the previous investigation, the effective features on visual reaction were the same as they had been. For the above-mentioned reasons the evaluation of the Chernoff's face graph was reliable even if the pupils were modified.
