This report deals with research on two-phase linear induction motor which has attracted attention as the low-speed small power source or servo-motor for control mechanism. Calculations of the stationary characteristics are made by means of both the T-type equivalent circuit of conventional induction machines and the circuit equation which as described in this report, introduced mutual inductances peculiar to the two-phase linear induction motor, and the values thus obtained are compared. The actual measurement of the stationary characteristics was done through the stator drive model running on the secondary conductor plate which is ten-meters in length. As a result, it has become clear that when the internal impedance is large in force, output and efficiency caused by the mutual inductance between primary phase-windings decrease by few-percents. And also, the speed-force of two-phase linear induction motor has characteristic to drop almost vertically. Accordingly, those characteristics are very useful to servomotors.
