In situ Nb_3Sn superconducting wires were fabricated via a conventional deformation process from ingots produced mainly by rf melting and casting processes. The improvement of J_c in high magnetic fields was performed by the addition of third elements. The change of J_c with tensile strain at 4.2K and 9T was measured. Tensile test was carried out at 4.2K and room temperature. The results were discussed in the relation to fabrication processes of in situ Nb_3Sn superconducting wires, in comparison with those produced from arc melted ingots.
