(1) The deduction formula for dielectric constant e of the powder solids was determined experimentally. We can measure the dielectric constant of powder by this equation[cf. (11')]from measured apparent dielectric constant E when the powder sample packed up in a cell with the volume ratio p. (2) Comparison was made on this equation with the old equations. (3) By applying this equation to 8 kinds of powder of unknown or uncertainly determined dielectric constents, the values are determined, some of them have been found to disagree with the International Critical Tables (1929 Ed.). Some discussion was given about this.
