This paper, part three of "The Music of Kagura in Miyazaki City", deals with Oshima Kaigura, which is a traditional Kagura of Oshima Tenman Shrine, situated at Oshima Cho, part of the coast area of Miyazaki City. The musical analysis of its Kamiuta and Drumming is based on an interview with Mr. Sadayoshi Kurogi, who has'been dancing Kagura for sixty years. Its Kamiuta, the song accompanying Kagura, resembles the structure of Yowagin, which is a way of singing in Noh . And its drum rhythm, which involves strong Auftakt (up beat) and wide range of sound is akin to the Ka.gura found at secluded places in the mountains in Miyazaki Prefecture, and, in its structure, seems to resemble music of the pre-Noh era. Besides, though the masks are said to have been dedicated in the Meiji era, it may be inferred from their primitive design that they have been handed down from the era before Noh. Further, Oshima Kaigura can be compared with the Kagura of other areas in Miyazaki City, and is found to resemble Ikime Kagura and Komatsu Kagura. It can therefore be concluded that it is a representative example of the Kagura in Miyazaki City
