• It is well known that the level of mathematics in China was very high, and bureaucratical system developed in ancient peroids. In Tang dynasty, mathematical curriculum in Suan-Xue was already the following. BothSuan-ji and Wu-cao had to be done in a year; J m-shu and Hai-dao in threeyears, Xia Hou-yang and Zhang Qiu-jian each in a year, both Zhou-pei and Wu-jmg-suan in a year.
