公立大学に於ける公開講座の意義

Gifu City has dealt with lifelong learning as evidenced by the declaration of the city of lifelong learning in 1996 and the establishment of the center of lifelong learning at Gifu railway station (Heartful Square G) in 2002. Though Gifu City Women's College has not offered education to students only, but continued to join Nagaragawa University, the extension lecture presented by Gifu City, it is time to have second thought about the extension of the university to the regional community under current social circumstances, such as declining birthrate and aging population and so on. This paper consists of two parts. The former discusses about the meaning of extension lecture on the basis of similar lectures in other institutes. The latter aims to show the basic document to improve extension lecture in our college through examining the questionnaire survey continuing from last year.
