本学衛生技術科における学習の動機づけに関する試み(II) : 第29回九州臨床検査学会に参加した3年次生の意識調査

It is evident that the number of motiveless freshman students at the department of medical technology of this college is increasing every year. In order to make them realize the first purpose of entering college and elevate learning interest, this college has already started several trials, such as orientation laboratory experience at the beginning, study-tour to the medical laboratories in big hospitals, and some other trials in other classes. Along this line, this year, the senior students (third year grade) at our department of medical technology participated as student members assisting management of the meeting in the 29th annual meeting of Kyushu Medical Technologist Society held in Kumamoto-city in October, 1994. After the meeting questionaries were given to the total 96 students attended to obtain valuable ideas, if any, for future guidance, inquiring them whether or not they knew the society before and how they felt by attending the meeting. As a result, 81 % of the senior students had already acquainted with the society without knowing total activities of the society before the time of the investigation. We could confirm that students had valuable experiences and learned many things by attending the meeting.
